Recycling in Okaloosa CountyAdopt-A-County Road and Adopt-A-Dune ProgramsThe Environmental Council sponsors roadside litter cleanup efforts. Organizations may adopt a two-mile rural or one-mile urban segment of county road by agreeing to remove litter alongside their adopted area a minimum of four times yearly. For more information, click here. In addition to roadside cleanups, organizations may adopt the beach and dunes surrounding an Okaloosa Island beach park by agreeing to clean the area at least three times yearly. Details here.
